It's ok to be westernised 但不要忘记你的根 你流的是华人的血。And don't be proud of the fact that U're Chinese but can't even converse properly in your own language. That's nothing to be proud of at all. I used to not be able to speak Mandarin cos I grew up with mostly Malay brothas but I put in effort to learn my language 因为我觉得身为华人我应该懂我自己的母语. Be proud of your own culture and roots.
